God’s Fingerprints: Dusting for the Divine in the Life of a Christian Scientist Journalist
David Horn has served the Christian Science movement in several capacities over a period of fifty years. His story will fascinate Christian Scientists, but it will also absorb and instruct others interested in understanding this great American religious movement.
Overcoming poverty through education in a remarkable set of circumstances, Horn experienced some unusual examples of God’s care in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was on the staff of The Christian Science Monitor for more than a decade, and later served as an informational representative (Committee on Publication) for the Church. As a reporter for Indiana newspapers, Horn wrote stories and columns that emphasized not only interest but goodness in life.
This is his story, the product of a gifted writer and told with verve, skill and humor.
